ARLINGTON, Va. — HDMA President and CEO John M. Gray released the following statement on today's passage of the Ensuring Patient Access and Effective Drug Enforcement Act of 2014 (H.R. 4709) by the House of Representatives. The legislation is sponsored by Reps. Tom Marino (R-Pa.), Marsha Blackburn (R-Tenn.), Peter Welch (D-Vt.) and Judy Chu (D-Calif.)
“Today’s vote represents a victory for those working to curb our nation’s prescription drug abuse epidemic by encouraging productive dialogue and collaboration between supply chain stakeholders and regulators.
